All Saints’ Day is a public holiday in Lithuania, set aside to honor the souls of family members. People go to cemeteries to put candles on tombs and say a prayer to their loved ones. It is believed that, on this day, the souls of the dead return to Earth – to churches, cemeteries and their homes.
